9 Months old!

Can you believe it!  Alex is 9 months old today!  I feel like it was yesterday I was holding him in my arms minutes after I gave birth to him!  Alex had his 9 month appointment Tuesday and it was a fun appointment, NO SHOTS!  YEY!!  The doctor gave us the go ahead to try cheese & cottage cheese.  He was really impressed at Alex’s motor skills like pulling himself up to standing, and standing one handed and crawling and babbling he said Alex is doing great!   Also when he was checking his mouth he spotted a top front tooth about to poke thru yey!  That will look sooooo cute with 2 teeth on bottom and one on top!  It is just about thru!

Weight: 18 lbs. 9 oz. (25%ile)

Head Circumference: 18 3/4″ (90 %ile)

He is a tall skinny boy! 

Yesterday we went to playgroup and then we headed over to Sears to get Alex’s 9 month old/Easter pictures done…  We got there, and I got him all dressed in his adorable outfit and it began, here are all the shots oh how do I decide???  He is soooooo darn cute!

What an adorable little boy!!!!  I may be a little bias!  He was soooo good thru all the pictures!  He started to get a little fussy when it came to the sales pitch but overall he was a trooper!  So I thought well since he did so well with these pictures we need a fun one!  So we went to get a picture with the Easter Bunny!  Now you all remember the episode with Santa…  Let me remind you…

So as you can imagine I was a little nervous about the Easter Bunny experience…  Here is the picture…..

YEY!  He loved the Easter Bunny!  He was grabbing his fur and smiling away!  I was so glad it was a positive experience for him!  Today is April 9th, 2009 and Alex is 9 months old!  WOW!  Look at my little boy!  I was looking at a few pictures of him as a baby and thought I would share…

33 weeks!  Definitely looking more like little boy!

Then there is today…  40 weeks old!  He is as old as the amount of time he was in my tummy!  WOW that is wild!  Look at my Big Boy!

 

HAPPY 9 month old Birthday to my little buddy!  Wow where has the time gone???  Time flies when you’re having fun!  I am so thrilled to have had the first 9 months of his life with him and I can’t wait for all the months and years ahead!  I love being a Mommy!  I hope you enjoy reading about Alex & our adventures!
